The Wall Street Journal has reported that Microsoft is working on a new line of surface tablets, and one of them is a 7-inch tablet. The line will be released later this year. A 7-inch tablet wasn't originally the plan, but after the Nexus 7 and the iPad mini, Microsoft knew it had to make a competing product.
